The International Medical Group was founded in 1996 and has
progressively expanded its operations in Uganda.
In line with its corporate mission "to provide a complete
medical service with compassionate nursing, excellent patient
conditions with modern medical equipment" IMG has over
this period diversified it's service and outlets to include:
International Medical Centre(IMC): An outpatient
general practice clinic facility.
International Hospital Kampala (IHK): A fully
equipped modern hospital with excellent nursing care.
International Air Ambulance: A health management
organisation providing medical insurance schemes for companies
and individuals. IAA provides 24 hour ambulance rescue and evacuation.
International Medical Group - Dental: providing
dental services at International Hospital and International
Medical Centre.
IAA Managed Health Care Schemes: These are
managed health care schemes which provide health care cover
for individuals, families and companies within Uganda on an
annual premium basis.
IAA also act as agents for Healthcare International for the
provision of international medical insurance.
Uganda Health Management Institute: The main
purpose of the Institute is to fill the gaps in medical education
for medical, nursing and paramedical staff and to offer courses
to non-medical personnel in areas related to health care.
Specialized Medical Services offered at International
Hospital include:
Medicine, surgery, plastic surgery, endoscopy, laporoscopic
surgery, obstetric & gynecology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology,
pediatrics, psychiatry, physiotherapy and ENT.
Collaborations: IHK has established several informal links
with Universities or hospitals abroad, such as Queens University
Belfast, Baylor University and Berkley Business School.
Other institution with which IMG has links are Church Mission
Society Ireland, Hands of Help Australia and Univeristies Ireland
( a university forum spanning Univeristies north and south of
the border).

at IHK. This provides our clientele a wide spectrum of specialised
